Employment Type: Full-time employee
Remote - Frogslayer will consider candidates located anywhere in the US with proper work authorization
$75k to $150k base salary. Compensation for this role will be based on candidate's experience, potential for contribution, and scope of role

Who You Are

We are looking for an iOS developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of iOS devices including mobile phones and tablet computers. Your primary focus will be development of iOS applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.

Job requirements

  • Design and build applications for the iOS platform
  • Write clean, maintainable code, debug, profile, and optimize iOS Apps
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix defects
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
  • Collaborate with design on UI practices for optimal mobile experiences
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement, diagnose issues and collaborate with other team members to resolve them
  • Review team members’ work and give constructive feedback on improvements
  • Mentor and coach more junior developers
  • Other duties as required
  • Deep experience with Swift and Cocoa Touch
  • Experience with Objective-C and iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  • Knowledge of multiple application architecture patterns
  • Pragmatic understanding of Apple’s human interface guidelines
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
  • Knowledge of other web and cloud technologies, and UI/UX standards


  • BS in Computer Science/Engineering or other technical field of study
  • Experience with other mobile technologies (Android, Xamarin, Flutter)
